Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
So about a month ago I was really bored of my current beauty regime...not that I can even call it that as it lacks...a lot! (All I really tend to use is cleansers and moisturisers...I know I should be taking care of my skin more.) And while I was scrolling though instagram one day I came across this.
The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid.
After I looked into it, I was surprised at how many people were already using it and pretty shocked at how I had managed to not notice this brand before with all it's high reviews! So I looked on their website to see the benefits and what it is really used for. The benefits of Hyaluronic Acid is to rehydrate and plump the skin, while reducing the appearance of fine lines. Now...I suffer with eczema (especially in the winter season) so my skin is pretty much crying out for moisture at all times. So I immediately found it and bought it...I mean at this stage the number of guys that have a better beauty routine than me is insane so I had to move fast.
In terms of looks and packaging, for me it is incredibly appealing. It's simple and straight to the point, while providing all the information you really need. Just looking at the bottle made me think I'd made the right choice. This brand clearly knows what the customer wants and even more what they need for their skin to be the best it can be.
In terms of use, the directions say to apply a few drops to the face AM and PM. It comes with a little pipette which means you can control how much product you actually use, and on that note with this product a little goes a long way. I normally apply 3 drops and have plenty to cover my whole face. Once it has dried, apply moisturiser or any other booster as this allows to seal the product...otherwise it can have the opposite affect and push your skin to draw out moisture instead (strange I know).
I've now been using this for around 2 to 3 weeks and already I can see I difference. For the great price of £5.99 you really can't go wrong. I've even started looking at other products in there range, so if anyone has any recommendations I would be happy to hear them. Now all I need to do is build up the rest of my beauty routine!
